Description
It is found that Cavalrymen from the tomb of Thracian wore these types of muscle armour in classical antiquity. This Greek Muscle Cuirass or anatomical cuirass is a type of cuirass made to fit the wearer’s torso and designed to mimic an idealized male human physique. It came to existence as a further development of early Archaic bell shaped cuirass. It first appears in late Archaic Greece and became widespread throughout the 5th and 4th centuries BC. We manufacture this cuirass in two pieces, the front and the back.
