Originated in central Asia, this helmet was worn by Persian soldier in 18th – 19th centuries . This helmet is made of mild steel in bowl shape with black finish. It contained a spike at the top of the helmet, which look like spearhead. Two plume holders are attached on both side of the skull, used to mount feathers. This helmet also has an iron and brass aventail to protect the neck, shoulders and the temple of the face. A iron bar is attached to the front of the helmet with a bracket. It can be slide in upward and downward position and fasten with a set screw.
