Description
Villanovan culture, was the earliest Iron Age culture, made this helmet. This culture abruptly followed the Bronze Age and giving way to an increasingly orientating culture influenced by Greek traders which was followed by the Etruscan civilization in the 7th century BC. This Villanovan Crested Greek Helmet is made of two halves joint together with rivets. On both sides of the crest there are two rows of large dots separated and bordered by rows of small dots just like a original piece.
